Source: Grateful Dead ‘Considering’ Additional Fare Thee Well Dates on the Moon

An anonymous source confirmed to Fair Thee Well that the band has at least been “considering” a run of shows on the Moon the weekend before the newly added dates in Santa Clara, Calif.

According to a sourcey report released Friday, March 13 on the fan blog hypemusicfestivals.com, the band will announce two additional nights in Santa Clara in the coming weeks with a second round of GDTSTOO mail orders to be coordinated specifically to accommodate the demand.

However, Fair Thee Well’s own anonymous source indicates another run of shows also being scheduled for the weekend before the Santa Clara shows.

“It would make sense, there are a lot of space themes and such throughout the Dead’s music. The Moon’s Moltke Crater is a venue large enough to hold every deadhead in the universe. If you haven’t seen a show there, put it on your list.” Shapiro said.

With a diameter of 6.5 km, this lunar venue would be an ideal place for a Grateful Dead concert. However, many on social media were quick to express their doubts about being able to get into space for face.
